Stop the torturing of live geeseTill: Eskil Erlandsson, agricultural minister in Sweden, Mariann Fisher Boel, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, he Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development in EU Stop the torturing of live geese being plucked for feathers! We have learned that live geese are being plucked for feathers. Not just once per bird, but up to five times each! This is apparently going on in Hungary and Poland despite regulations against it. It is a disgrace for the human race that this kind of cruelty can be allowed to continue in today's modern world. We demand that you act NOW to end the torture.
